About
The City of Highland Park is committed to providing trauma-informed community resources to all who were impacted by the Highland Park shooting on July 4, 2022 through short-term counseling, referrals and service navigation, case management, and resources. The Resiliency Division coordinates community outreach events to engage the community and amplifies updates from the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office regarding court proceedings. The Resiliency Division is also supporting the working group planning for a permanent place of remembrance.
Resiliency Division Specialist Jazmin Alejandro, LSW, is responsible for managing Resiliency Division services, including providing assistance with case management, referrals, and resource navigation. She is also bilingual and can provide services in Spanish.
